Cashier Robbed at Hometown Sunoco in Swanton
Swanton, Vt. 12/7/13
(LYNDONVILLE, Vt.) - A lone man entered and robbed a cashier at Hometown Sunoco located at 166 First Street in Swanton on December 7.
The assailant entered the store at 1:15 a.m and was was described as a white man at a height between 5'8 - 6'00. He escaped on foot from the store with the with the cash and items undisclosed.
No other information is available at the time expect for that fortunately no one was hurt during the incident. Anyone with information is to contact the Vermont State Police in Saint Albans at 802-524-5993 or Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 802-524-2121.
As written, the man entered the cashier and then robbed her. That's a bit awkward.

Don't say "fortunately" no one was hurt. Maybe the cashier was a serial killer who was going to murder the man who eventually robbed her. In that case, would you say "unfortunately, no one was hurt..." ?
